A four-day voyage to Sail the Spring Tides of Setouchi

On many islands in Setouchi, people still display hina dolls until the end of March on the traditional calendar. A Chinese custom to transfer misfortune and impurity into dolls and let them drift away in the sea evolved in Japan into distinctive local practices that have been passed down for generations.
On this route, guests will make dolls onboard and release them into the sea in hope for a peaceful year. The next day, guntû will sail to the Kutsuna Islands, among the most beautiful chains in Setouchi, to join islanders on Gogoshima for an event welcoming the warmer season of new sprouts.
